APAI supported the City of Lubbock during the construction phase of this project with full service construction management and resident representative services. Project consisted of multiple structures, underground utilities, odor control, storage tank, paving, electrical, SCADA, and site work. Project value was $52,000,000 for design and construction.
The Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant project is a new treatment facility with related projects bringing wastewater, potable water, and power to the site. Additionally, approximately 7 miles of pipelines were added bring influent and effluent away from the site. The project design includes a first in the US combination of surface aerator aeration basins paired with Membrane bioreactor system. The project also represents the largest flat sheet Membrane Bioreactor facility in Texas.
